Lemon Golden Syrup Tarts
Ingredients
- 1 lb golden syrup
- ¾ cup Allinson breadcrumbs
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Shortcrust pastry
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 425°F.
- 2 In a bowl, mix golden syrup, breadcrumbs, and lemon zest and juice until well combined.
- 3 Line tart tins with shortcrust pastry.
- 4 Fill each tin with about 1 tablespoon of the treacle mixture.
- 5 Bake in a quick oven until set and golden.
