Ingredients

  • 1 lb golden syrup
  • ¾ cup Allinson breadcrumbs
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Shortcrust pastry

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. 2 In a bowl, mix golden syrup, breadcrumbs, and lemon zest and juice until well combined.
  3. 3 Line tart tins with shortcrust pastry.
  4. 4 Fill each tin with about 1 tablespoon of the treacle mixture.
  5. 5 Bake in a quick oven until set and golden.
