Lemon Extract Cut-Out Cookies
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ pound butter
- 1½ cups sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- Flour (enough to roll out)
- A little lemon extract
Method
- 1 Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- 2 Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk and lemon extract.
- 3 Sift in the baking powder and gradually add flour until the dough is thick enough to roll out.
- 4 Roll the dough thin, cut into shapes, and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until golden.
