Lemon Cornstarch Sauce With Rind
Ingredients
- 1 lemon, grated rind
- 2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- Juice of 2 lemons
Method
- 1 Combine lemon rind, water, and cornstarch in a saucepan.
- 2 Dissolve the starch, then bring the mixture to a boil.
- 3 Cook slowly for five minutes.
- 4 Stir in sugar and lemon juice, beating until thoroughly mixed.
