Lemon Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup butter
- 3 eggs, beaten separately
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
Method
- 1 Sift the baking powder with the flour.
- 2 Beat the eggs separately.
- 3 Cream the butter and sugar, then add eggs, milk, and dry ingredients alternately. Stir in lemon extract.
