  • 4 egg whites
  • juice of 8 lemons
  • grated rind of 2 lemons
  • 1/4 lb fresh butter

Method

  1. 1 Combine powdered sugar, egg yolks, egg whites, lemon juice, lemon rind, and butter in a double boiler.
  2. 2 Stir over a slow fire until the mixture reaches the consistency of honey.
