Lemon Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup water
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 oz butter
- 1 tsp cold water
- 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
Method
- 1 In a small pan, whisk flour and water with salt and pepper until smooth.
- 2 Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- 3 Remove from heat and whisk in butter, cold water, and lemon juice or vinegar.
- 4 Return to low heat to warm through, keeping it warm until serving.
