Lemon Baked Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 1 pint milk
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 3 eggs
- grated lemon rind
Method
- 1 Heat the milk, stir in the butter, and let it cool.
- 2 Whisk the sugar, flour, and eggs (omitting whites of two) into the milk mixture. Add lemon rind and beat well.
- 3 Butter small cups, fill them more than halfway, and bake at 350°F for 20-30 minutes.
- 4 Serve warm with fruit, custard, or wine sauce.
