Leftover Turkey And Gravy Hash
Ingredients
- Leftover cooked turkey or chicken meat, chopped fine
- Water (to cover)
- Leftover gravy from fowls
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped celery
- Breadcrumbs
- Butter
- Flour (optional, for thickening)
- Onion, sliced (optional)
Method
- 1 Chop the leftover meat fine and place it in a small iron pot or stew pan.
- 2 Cover the meat with water and add any leftover gravy.
- 3 Season with salt and pepper, then add chopped celery, breadcrumbs, and a lump of butter.
- 4 If a thicker consistency is desired, dust in a little flour. Optionally, add sliced onion.
