Leftover Meat Hash With Toast
Ingredients
- Leftover cold meat, cut into pieces
- 1 cup stock or gravy
- 1 oz flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp catsup or Harvey's sauce (optional)
- Toast or fried bread for serving
Method
- 1 Mix flour smoothly into the stock or gravy and boil for three minutes, stirring constantly.
- 2 Add salt, pepper, and catsup or sauce to the gravy.
- 3 Add the cut meat pieces to the gravy and warm through gently; do not boil once meat is added.
- 4 Serve the hash on a hot dish, garnished with sippets of fried or toasted bread.
