Layered Fruit Crumb Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons melted fat
  • 2 cups crumbs
  • ½ cup fruit juice or water
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 2 cups leftover canned or cooked dried fruit

Method

  1. 1 Place one-quarter of the crumbs on the bottom of a buttered baking pan.
  2. 2 Layer half the fruit, half the corn syrup, half the liquid, and the next quarter of crumbs.
  3. 3 Add the remaining fruit, juice, corn syrup, and top with the rest of the crumbs.
  4. 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 20 minutes.
