Layered Fruit Crumb Bake
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons melted fat
- 2 cups crumbs
- ½ cup fruit juice or water
- ½ cup corn syrup
- 2 cups leftover canned or cooked dried fruit
Method
- 1 Place one-quarter of the crumbs on the bottom of a buttered baking pan.
- 2 Layer half the fruit, half the corn syrup, half the liquid, and the next quarter of crumbs.
- 3 Add the remaining fruit, juice, corn syrup, and top with the rest of the crumbs.
- 4 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) for 20 minutes.
