Laminated Puff Pastry
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups sifted flour
- ½ cup fresh butter
- 1 cup cold water
- ¾ cup butter
Method
- 1 Rub ½ cup butter into 1 ¼ cups sifted flour mixed with 1 cup cold water. Let rest for 15 minutes.
- 2 Roll dough thin. Place ¾ cup butter in small pieces on top.
- 3 Dust with flour, roll thin, and fold. Repeat rolling and folding two more times.
- 4 Chill in a cold place for 1 hour before using.
