Ladyfinger Molded Cream And Gelatin Dessert
Ingredients
- 1/2 package gelatin
- 1 1/4 cups water
- sugar to taste
- 1/2 cup cooking wine
- cochineal for color
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1/2 box gelatin
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar
- ladyfingers
Method
- 1 Soak 1/2 package gelatin in 1 1/4 cups water. Add sugar, 1/2 cup wine, and cochineal. Let stand until stiff.
- 2 Dissolve 1/2 box gelatin in 1 pint sweet cream. Add sugar, wine, and vanilla.
- 3 Whip the cream mixture stiff. Beat well together.
- 4 Line a mold with ladyfingers and the set jelly mixture. Pour in the cream mixture.
