Ladyfinger Molded Cream And Gelatin Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package gelatin
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • sugar to taste
  • 1/2 cup cooking wine
  • cochineal for color
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 box gelatin
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • ladyfingers

Method

  1. 1 Soak 1/2 package gelatin in 1 1/4 cups water. Add sugar, 1/2 cup wine, and cochineal. Let stand until stiff.
  2. 2 Dissolve 1/2 box gelatin in 1 pint sweet cream. Add sugar, wine, and vanilla.
  3. 3 Whip the cream mixture stiff. Beat well together.
  4. 4 Line a mold with ladyfingers and the set jelly mixture. Pour in the cream mixture.
