Kirsch Almond And Cherry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp arrowroot
- 1 tbsp kirsch
- 2 tbsp shredded almonds
- 2 tbsp candied cherries, cut into small pieces
Method
- 1 Combine sugar and boiling water in a saucepan; boil for 5 minutes.
- 2 Moisten arrowroot with a little water and stir into the syrup. Cook until clear, then remove from heat.
- 3 Stir in kirsch, shredded almonds, and chopped candied cherries.
