Kale Banana Apple Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup kale or spinach
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup low-fat milk (or coconut or almond milk)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 medium apple, cored and sliced
- 1 cup frozen fruit (single variety or mixed)
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
Method
- 1 Place kale or spinach and your chosen liquid into a blender.
- 2 Add the banana, yogurt, sliced apple, frozen fruit, and optional seeds.
- 3 Blend until smooth, adding ingredients as needed to ensure even mixing.
- 4 Serve immediately while cold.
