Julienne Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pint mixed vegetables (celery, carrots, turnips)
  • 1 quart stock
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Method

  1. 1 Cut vegetables into tiny dice or strips of uniform size.
  2. 2 Boil vegetables in salted water until tender but firm, then drain.
  3. 3 Add vegetables to stock, bring to a boil, season with pepper, and serve.
