Jelly Stuffed Apples With Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- apples
- syrup
- lemon or spice
- jelly
- whipped cream
- chopped nuts
Method
- 1 Peel and core the apples. Cook them in enough syrup to cover until soft, adding lemon or spice for flavor if desired.
- 2 Drain the apples and fill the cores with jelly.
- 3 Reduce the syrup by rapid boiling, then pour it around the apples and chill.
- 4 At serving time, cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
