Infused Mint Vinegar Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch mint
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup vinegar

Method

  1. 1 Rinse the mint in cold water and chop it very fine.
  2. 2 Dissolve the sugar in the vinegar.
  3. 3 Add the chopped mint to the vinegar mixture and let stand for one hour to infuse.
  4. 4 If the vinegar is too strong, dilute it with cold water.
  5. 5 For hot sauce, heat the vinegar and sugar, then stir in the chopped mint just before serving.
