Individual Lamb Pot Pies
Ingredients
- Lamb meat scraps from a leg of lamb
- 1 carrot, diced
- 4 onions
- 4 potatoes, cut in halves
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Pastry crust
Method
- 1 Place lamb scraps, diced carrot, onions, and halved potatoes in a saucepan. Cover with cold water and cook slowly until vegetables are soft.
- 2 Remove onions and potatoes. Thicken the remaining gravy and season with salt, pepper, chopped green pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- 3 Divide meat, potatoes, onions, and gravy among individual baking dishes.
- 4 Cover with pastry crust and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 20 minutes.
