Hot Water Pie Crust

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 4 tablespoons Crisco
• 1/3 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 3 tablespoons boiling water

Method

1. 1 Sift flour, salt, and baking powder into a bowl.
2. 2 Rub Crisco lightly into the dry ingredients.
3. 3 Stir in boiling water until combined.
4. 4 Cool the paste before using to prevent stickiness.
