  • 1 sugar cube
  • 1 tsp hot water
  • ½ oz bourbon whiskey
  • ½ oz rye whiskey
  • Boiling water
  • Lemon peel
  • Nutmeg

Method

  1. 1 Place sugar cube in a hot water glass and dissolve with 1 tsp hot water using a muddler.
  2. 2 Add ½ oz bourbon whiskey and ½ oz rye whiskey.
  3. 3 Fill the glass with boiling water.
  4. 4 Twist lemon peel over the drink to release oils, then grate nutmeg on top. Serve immediately.
