Horseradish Sauce For Corned Beef
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup grated horseradish
- ¼ tsp dry mustard
- salt and pepper
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in flour until smooth.
- 2 Gradually add milk while stirring constantly until the mixture boils and thickens.
- 3 Season with salt and pepper, then cook for 3 minutes.
- 4 Stir in grated horseradish and dry mustard until well blended.
- 5 Keep warm in a double boiler and serve over boiled or corned beef.
