Honey Raspberry Nutmegade

Ingredients

  • 3 baskets raspberries, well-washed
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 ½ cups honey
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 orange or 1 lemon, juiced
  • Ice

Method

  1. 1 Place raspberries, water, honey, and nutmeg in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Bring to a boil, then cook slowly until fruit is soft, mashing frequently.
  3. 3 Cool the mixture, then strain into a punch bowl.
  4. 4 Add citrus juice and a piece of ice before serving.
