Homemade White Quince Marmalade

Ingredients

  • 1 lb unpared quinces
  • ¾ lb sugar
  • water for boiling

Method

  1. 1 Boil whole unpared quinces in water until soft.
  2. 2 Peel the quinces and remove all pulp from the cores.
  3. 3 Add ¾ lb sugar to each pound of quince pulp.
  4. 4 Boil the mixture until it pulls away from the bottom of the pan.
  5. 5 Pour the hot marmalade into boxes to set.
