Homemade White Quince Marmalade
Ingredients
- 1 lb unpared quinces
- ¾ lb sugar
- water for boiling
Method
- 1 Boil whole unpared quinces in water until soft.
- 2 Peel the quinces and remove all pulp from the cores.
- 3 Add ¾ lb sugar to each pound of quince pulp.
- 4 Boil the mixture until it pulls away from the bottom of the pan.
- 5 Pour the hot marmalade into boxes to set.
