Homemade Lemon Marmalade

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon
  • 1 ¼ cups water
  • 1 ½ cups sugar

Method

  1. 1 Slice the lemon, remove seeds, and chop the rind finely.
  2. 2 Add water and bring to a boil. Cook slowly for about one hour until the rind is very soft.
  3. 3 Stir in sugar and cook until the mixture thickens to the consistency of marmalade.
