Homemade Currant Raspberry Jam
Ingredients
- 2 lbs currants
- 0.5 lbs raspberries
- 4.5 lbs moist sugar
Method
- 1 Combine the currants, raspberries, and sugar in a large pot.
- 2 Simmer the mixture slowly, skimming off any foam that rises to the surface.
- 3 Boil until the jam reaches a sufficient gel consistency.
- 4 Transfer the hot jam into jars and seal with brandy paper once cooled.
