Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cranberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water

Method

  1. 1 Pick over and wash the cranberries in cold water.
  2. 2 Place berries in a saucepan with enough water to cover them.
  3. 3 Cook until tender, then add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  4. 4 Serve hot or cold. For jelly, strain and cool in a mold.
