Homemade Apricot Jam With Apricot Kernels
Ingredients
- 1 lb apricots
- 2 apricot kernels (chopped)
- 3/4 lb sugar
Method
- 1 Pour boiling water over apricots to peel, then transfer to cold water. Chop 2 apricot kernels per pound of fruit and add to the apricots.
- 2 Cook the mixture for 30 minutes. Add 3/4 lb sugar for every 1 lb of fruit and cook for another 15 minutes.
- 3 Ladle the hot jam into bowls or glasses and seal air-tight.
