Homemade Apricot Jam With Apricot Kernels

Ingredients

  • 1 lb apricots
  • 2 apricot kernels (chopped)
  • 3/4 lb sugar

Method

  1. 1 Pour boiling water over apricots to peel, then transfer to cold water. Chop 2 apricot kernels per pound of fruit and add to the apricots.
  2. 2 Cook the mixture for 30 minutes. Add 3/4 lb sugar for every 1 lb of fruit and cook for another 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Ladle the hot jam into bowls or glasses and seal air-tight.
