Homemade Apricot Glaze
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb apricot jam
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 pint water
Method
- 1 Dilute the apricot jam with 1/2 pint of water in a saucepan.
- 2 Bring the mixture to a boil and pass it through a sieve to remove any lumps.
- 3 Return the strained liquid to the pan and bring to a boil again.
- 4 Thicken the sauce by stirring in the cornstarch until smooth.
- 5 Serve the sauce hot or cold.
