Herb Tossed Lettuce Salad With French Dressing
Ingredients
- Tender lettuce leaves
- 1 onion (for rubbing bowl)
- 1 tsp mixed tarragon, parsley, and chives, chopped fine
- French dressing
Method
- 1 Soak tender lettuce leaves in cold water for 30 minutes to crisp.
- 2 Rub the inside of a salad bowl lightly with a cut onion.
- 3 Wipe lettuce leaves perfectly dry without bruising.
- 4 Arrange leaves in the bowl in circles with heart leaves in the center.
- 5 Sprinkle with chopped herbs, pour over French dressing, and toss lightly.
