Herb Stuffed Baked Trout
Ingredients
- fine bread crumbs
- parsley or thyme
- butter
- salt
- pepper
- whole trout, cleaned and dried
- drippings for basting
Method
- 1 Mix bread crumbs, chopped parsley or thyme, butter, salt, and pepper to create a stuffing.
- 2 Ensure the trout is thoroughly dried and cleaned, then stuff the cavity with the mixture and sew it shut.
- 3 Bake the trout for 20 to 30 minutes, basting well with drippings halfway through.
- 4 Serve the fish garnished with fresh parsley.
