Herb Marinated Broiled Steak
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 3 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil or thyme
- 1 pound boneless beef chuck shoulder steak, 1-inch thick
Method
- 1 Mix onion, parsley, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, and basil or thyme.
- 2 Place meat in a plastic bag and pour in the marinade.
- 3 Close bag securely, place in a bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours or overnight, turning once.
- 4 Pour off and discard the marinade. Place meat on a rack in the broiler.
- 5 Broil for 15 to 20 minutes or until desired doneness, turning once halfway through.
- 6 Cut into thin slices to serve.
