Herb Crusted Veal Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 neck of veal, cut into steaks
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh marjoram, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Breadcrumbs
- Butter, for rubbing paper
Method
- 1 Beat the veal steaks on both sides to tenderize. Mix chopped parsley, thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Brush both sides of the steaks with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the herb mixture and breadcrumbs evenly over both sides, pressing gently to adhere.
- 3 Rub sheets of parchment paper with butter. Wrap each steak tightly in the paper.
- 4 Broil or bake in a pan at 350°F until cooked through and golden brown.
