Herb Crusted Veal Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1 neck of veal, cut into steaks
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh marjoram, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Butter, for rubbing paper

Method

  1. 1 Beat the veal steaks on both sides to tenderize. Mix chopped parsley, thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2 Brush both sides of the steaks with the beaten egg. Sprinkle the herb mixture and breadcrumbs evenly over both sides, pressing gently to adhere.
  3. 3 Rub sheets of parchment paper with butter. Wrap each steak tightly in the paper.
  4. 4 Broil or bake in a pan at 350°F until cooked through and golden brown.
