Herb Bread Stuffing With Celery
Ingredients
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 minced onion
- 1 cup soaked bread, water pressed out
- ½ cup stock
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ½ cup celery, cut into small pieces
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Method
- 1 Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Add minced onion and fry until softened.
- 3 Stir in soaked bread (water pressed out), stock, salt, pepper, thyme, and celery.
- 4 Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
