Herb And Nutmeg Potato Croquettes
Ingredients
- potatoes
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
- chopped parsley
- chopped thyme
- good gravy or stock
- egg, well beaten
- butter
Method
- 1 Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, then pass through a sieve.
- 2 Season the mashed potatoes with salt, pepper, nutmeg, chopped parsley, and a little chopped thyme.
- 3 Moisten the mixture with some good gravy or stock and form into small balls.
- 4 Dip each ball in well-beaten egg and fry in butter until light brown.
