Heavy Cream Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 quart flour, sifted
- 2 rounded teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups heavy cream
- Salt to taste
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 425°F (quick oven). Sift flour and mix in baking powder and salt.
- 2 Stir in heavy cream until a soft dough forms.
- 3 Roll dough out to a quarter-inch thickness on a floured surface.
- 4 Cut into shapes with a biscuit cutter and prick tops with a fork.
- 5 Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
