Heavy Cream Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 quart flour, sifted
  • 2 rounded teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425°F (quick oven). Sift flour and mix in baking powder and salt.
  2. 2 Stir in heavy cream until a soft dough forms.
  3. 3 Roll dough out to a quarter-inch thickness on a floured surface.
  4. 4 Cut into shapes with a biscuit cutter and prick tops with a fork.
  5. 5 Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
