Hashed Duck With Red Wine Gravy
Ingredients
- duck meat, cut into pieces
- flour
- gravy
- red wine
- shallot, chopped
- salt
- pepper
- lemon
- toast, cut into strips (sippets)
Method
- 1 Cut the duck meat into pieces and toss them in flour.
- 2 Place the duck in a stewpan with gravy, a splash of red wine, chopped shallot, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- 3 Add the duck pieces and toss to coat in the sauce. Remove the lemon slice.
- 4 Serve the hashed duck over toasted bread strips.
