Haricot Bean And Potato Stew
Ingredients
- 1 pint soaked haricot beans
- 4 potatoes
- 2 large onions
- ½ ounce butter
- 1 quart water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Prepare and slice the potatoes and onions.
- 2 Place the sliced vegetables, soaked haricot beans, butter, and water in a stewpan.
- 3 Simmer gently for two and a half hours, adding salt near the end.
