Ham Toast With Soft Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients
- cold cooked ham, chopped fine
- slices of bread
- butter, for toasting bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
Method
- 1 Toast and butter slices of bread. Spread the chopped ham on the toast and place in the oven for 3-4 minutes.
- 2 Beat 4 eggs with a cup of milk and season with salt and pepper.
- 3 Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Pour in the egg mixture and stir over heat until thickened, but do not let it boil.
- 4 Pour the cooked eggs over the ham toast and serve immediately.
