Ham Stuffed Deviled Eggs With White Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, minced
- 2 tbsp ham, minced
- 1 tbsp butter (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for sauce)
- 1 cup milk (for sauce)
- 1/8 tsp salt (for sauce)
- 1/8 tsp black pepper (for sauce)
Method
- 1 Boil eggs for 10 minutes, then cool, peel, and cut lengthwise. Remove yolks and set whites aside.
- 2 Mash yolks with 1 tsp melted butter, minced ham, and parsley. Fill egg whites with mixture and reassemble.
- 3 Melt 1 tbsp butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually whisk in milk. Simmer until thickened.
- 4 Season sauce with salt and pepper. Serve stuffed eggs on a shallow dish topped with the warm white sauce.
