Ham Stuffed Deviled Eggs With White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 tbsp ham, minced
  • 1 tbsp butter (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for sauce)
  • 1 cup milk (for sauce)
  • 1/8 tsp salt (for sauce)
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper (for sauce)

Method

  1. 1 Boil eggs for 10 minutes, then cool, peel, and cut lengthwise. Remove yolks and set whites aside.
  2. 2 Mash yolks with 1 tsp melted butter, minced ham, and parsley. Fill egg whites with mixture and reassemble.
  3. 3 Melt 1 tbsp butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually whisk in milk. Simmer until thickened.
  4. 4 Season sauce with salt and pepper. Serve stuffed eggs on a shallow dish topped with the warm white sauce.
