Ham Crostini With Poached Eggs
Ingredients
- 1 cup finely chopped ham
- 1 tablespoon fine bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon cream or milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for toast
- 2 slices toast
- 2 eggs for poaching
Method
- 1 Mix chopped ham with bread crumbs softened in cream or milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Heat the ham mixture thoroughly in a pan.
- 3 Butter and toast two slices of bread.
- 4 Spread the hot ham mixture onto the toast slices.
- 5 Top each slice with a poached egg and serve immediately.
