Ham And Pepper Rice Pilaf
Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 seeded green peppers, chopped
- ½ cup raw ham, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup parboiled rice
- 3 cups beef stock
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
Method
- 1 Chop together the onion, green peppers, and raw ham.
- 2 Sauté the mixture in butter until softened.
- 3 Add the parboiled rice, beef stock, canned tomatoes, and salt.
- 4 Cook very slowly until the rice is tender and the liquid is nearly absorbed.
