Ham And Mustard Stuffed Hard Boiled Eggs
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup stale bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup lean ham, chopped fine
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 raw egg
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
- fat for frying
- parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Cook bread crumbs and milk in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until a smooth paste forms.
- 2 Remove from heat and stir in ham, mustard, cayenne pepper, and raw egg until well combined.
- 3 Peel the hard-boiled eggs and coat each one thoroughly with the ham mixture.
- 4 Fry the coated eggs in hot fat until browned on all sides, then drain on paper towels.
- 5 Serve hot or cold on a bed of fresh parsley.
