Ground Beef Tomato Vegetable Stew

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef, ground turkey, or lean venison
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper (optional)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can full water
  • 2 medium carrots, diced or sliced
  • 1 medium potato, diced or sliced
  • 1 cup diced onion

Method

  1. 1 Brown the meat in a pan. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2 Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
  3. 3 Add the condensed tomato soup, one can of water, and vegetables to the pan.
  4. 4 Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 25 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  5. 5 Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes to thicken. Serve.
