Ground Beef Tomato Vegetable Stew
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef, ground turkey, or lean venison
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper (optional)
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed tomato soup
- 1 can full water
- 2 medium carrots, diced or sliced
- 1 medium potato, diced or sliced
- 1 cup diced onion
Method
- 1 Brown the meat in a pan. Drain any excess fat.
- 2 Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
- 3 Add the condensed tomato soup, one can of water, and vegetables to the pan.
- 4 Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for about 25 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- 5 Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes to thicken. Serve.
