Grilled Oysters With Herbs And Bread Crumbs
Ingredients
- Oysters on the half shell
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Method
- 1 Clean and shuck oysters, keeping them on the half shell. Rub the inside of each shell with a cut clove of garlic.
- 2 In a small bowl, mix the chopped parsley, thyme, pepper, and bread crumbs.
- 3 Spoon the herb mixture onto each oyster. Drizzle a few drops of olive oil over each one.
- 4 Place oysters on a grill over an open fire or high heat. Grill for a few minutes until heated through.
- 5 Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the oysters and serve immediately.
