  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chopped shallot (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Place steaks on a gridiron over a clear fire.
  2. 2 Turn steaks every two or three minutes to retain juices.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and rub with a small bit of butter.
  4. 4 Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped shallot if desired.
