Grilled Beef And Horseradish Toasts
Ingredients
- small piece of beef (rump steak or fillet)
- squares of toast, buttered and hot
- slice of tomato
- salt and pepper
- horseradish
- capers or chopped gherkins (optional)
Method
- 1 Cut the beef into squares and grill lightly over a clear fire.
- 2 Place hot, buttered toast squares on a hot dish.
- 3 Top each toast square with a piece of grilled steak.
- 4 Add a slice of tomato seasoned with salt and pepper.
- 5 Finish with a small pile of horseradish, or substitute capers or chopped gherkins.
