Griddle Corn Cakes With Milk
Ingredients
- 2 cups corn kernels (grated from the cob)
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sifted flour
- 1 egg, well-beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Grate fresh corn kernels from the cob to yield 2 cups.
- 2 In a bowl, combine the corn, milk, flour, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- 3 Heat a griddle over medium heat. Pour batter to form small cakes and cook until golden brown on both sides.
