  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup boiled milk
  • 1/2 cup liquid yeast
  • Corn meal for dusting

Method

  1. 1 Mix flour, sugar, butter, boiled milk, and liquid yeast. Set to rise overnight.
  2. 2 In the morning, roll dough to three-fourths inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter.
  3. 3 Allow muffins to rise again before cooking.
  4. 4 Cook on a hot griddle on the stove, turning like hot cakes. Dust board with corn meal.
