Green Pea And Potato Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pint shelled green peas
- 6 new potatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 sprig mint
- 1 ½ pints water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ ounce butter rolled in flour
Method
- 1 Slice the potatoes and onions.
- 2 Place potatoes, onions, peas, mint, and water in a stewpan.
- 3 Simmer gently for one hour.
- 4 Remove the mint sprig.
- 5 Add salt and butter rolled in flour, then stir for a few minutes over heat.
