Graham Flour Yeast Bread
Ingredients
- 2 quarts improved Graham flour
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1/4 cake yeast dissolved in 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Mix salt into flour. Make a well in the center.
- 2 Pour boiling water into the well, followed by lukewarm water and dissolved yeast.
- 3 Knead well for at least 15 minutes. Add sugar during kneading.
- 4 Set dough to rise overnight.
- 5 Mold into loaves in the morning and let rise until very light.
- 6 Bake until well done.
